About Toni

I was born in Washington, D.C. but most of my early years were spent in Kansas with a couple of stops in Charlotte and Oklahoma City; then, our family moved back to Washington, D.C., Miami, and the Panama Canal Zone. After the University of Florida (go Gators!), I became a stewardess (say flight attendant) for United Airlines, made reservations for Southern Airways, and ultimately worked for Delta Air Lines in the Consumer Affairs department. I retired from Delta after 22 years July 1, 2000.
My husband, Phil, and I bought our cabin on Pace’s Peninsula at Lake Martin in 1990 and were “weekenders” until 1998 when we moved here permanently. We have two children, Matt and Kate, who love to come here whenever they can.
I am a member of Red Ridge United Methodist and sing in the choir. Phil and I are both very involved with our volunteer fire department. Phil is a firefighter/EMT and we are both first responders. In our “spare” time we occasionally travel to visit family and friends and to explore new places.
I’ve created this blog to help potential Lake Martin buyers and sellers. I hope you find it useful!
